Fall is on it's way!
Oh I will so miss the warm summer days, the warm sun, boating and just relaxing at the pool or park with my 3 little loves , fall clothing lines almost (Really just ALMOST) make this doable!
Things have been going great here at Whimsical Willows Couture. Orders are coming in, as are some adorable customer photos ! (Please summit yours to Whimsicalwillow4@aol.com if you want yours added!)
I make a new fall piece, which leads me to make another, and another and well ... you get the idea! Full is full of fun colors and New designs just for you! As most of you know I make clothing for my daughter, Items I just want her to have and wear, and love, and then I share those designs with all of you! As I'm learning new things, and trying new ideas, everything just seems to come alive in my little sewing room! (Or shall I say Basement! sounds like a fun place to sew doesn't it lol??) Really besides the lack of natural lighting it's pretty cool and fun!
Up next in my world is school! All these fun new back to school outfits, and finding that "must have" perfect piece I find myself a little sad that my children have to wear, school uniforms! So Please share these adorable outfits with me so I can live that little vision through some of you! I'm really sad that my Youngest little Aidan will be starting Kindergarten ! I'm going to miss that little guy more then I know already! My oldest is starting 2nd grade and I'm STILL not ready for him to be away from me all day!
But this will leave me and Miss Natalie with a LOT of 1 on 1 time! i have some fun things planned for her Including starting dance classes! (Or hopefully a Mommy and ME class, now won't that be fun! LOL)
It will give me more time with her but I notice how short her time is left at home with me ! Just 2 more years and she will be away at school too!
That's where Whimsical Willows Couture comes in! My initial goal was to, start a business to help support my fabric addiction in making Natalie her own clothing. Fabric was expensive and even making just 1 outfit was pricey! So if I made 1 and sold 1, it cut the costs of her dress down some! Great idea, at first, but I wanted to make more and more! Then orders started coming and the feedback from my fans was overwhelming (I'm really so thankful to all of you who have brought me to where I am today!) I'm comfortable! Really, I'm busy enough where I'm happy and get to do what I like and that is sew and design! But i have enough down time that I get to spend so much time with my little ones.
I want to be that mom that can make it to little league games, or dance class, music lessons, whatever their little heart desires and not have work restrictions! And working from home with WWC has given me JUST that!

Wow 2 months have really flown by!
I have been missing from here but I've been busy creating new outfits and such for all my amazing fans! I love what I do and I'm so blessed to be so busy but it leaves little time for much else!!
I am excited to announce that I will be collarorating with Positively Whimsy Hair accessories on facebook and Etsy and working with the amazing Blue Dot photography! I have another beautiful model who will be wearing some WWC goodies soon too so please keep a look out for many new fun pieces!
My mix n match line has been a huge hit for me ! So many of you are buying the pieces right up and thank you all for supporting this little business of mine!
Summer is coming soon and I am going to try and slow down some so that I can really enjoy these next 2 months with my big 6 year old who is usually in school all day. Natalie and Whimsical Willows Couture in our FIRST magazine!

A little info:
A magazine published in California and soon to be distributed nationwide. We feature upscale and unique child fashion, amazing boutiques, exceptional photographers, and our nations most beautiful child models.
Not only is it a magazine, I knew would be online, I had no idea it would be also available in PRINT! Which makes this much more exciting for me!
Long ...LONG ago, before I had my children I tried so hard to get into the modeling world. I landed some paid online modeling jobs but when trying to get into Print work it just never happened for me, so many chances and close calls but it never panned out! Who would have thought years later I would be but for an entirely different reason! My beautiful little princess in a full spread! What an amazing opportunity ! I'm really excited about this, as I have said many times already but mostly thankful that they had even asked me for this opportunity and I am entirely grateful !
Also be on the look-out my new Spring/Summer collection will be releasing by the end of the month! I have so many sweet pieces I cannot wait to share with all of you!

New fabrics, new collection and more new FUN!
I have been work hard over here completing orders and working on creating a new spring/summer line to release at the end of the month/beginning of April! I'm really excited to be working with photographer Dawn Rockett from http://www.dawnrockett.com/
She has been doing an amazing job and I'm really excited to see what this spring and summer bring for all of us!
I was up all night last night, dreaming and thinking of 2 new outfit ideas. My mind would not shut off and I'm paying for it today! (On top of having sinusitis)!
I also created this adorable Easter outfit for a customer , She was such a joy to work with and the design I have to say I'm so excited to make more of these in the future!!
And as a goodbye here is the new Easter outfit, and a little sneak peak at the photographs from Dawn of her beautiful daughter in Whimsical Willows Couture designs!
